Diversity is a fundamental value for L’Oréal. A mixture of skills and the diversity of our teams are one of the keys to the Group's success.
The Group also wants to apply this diversity policy within its community of suppliers by developing collaborative efforts, particularly with local companies, medium and small businesses, and workplace integration companies.
We also encourage our suppliers to adopt this diversity policy internally within their organizations. To that end, November 26, 2007, L’Oréal organized the "TOGETHER FOR DIVERSITY" conference. This event brought together L’Oréal's main suppliers for the purpose of making them aware of Diversity issues and sharing our commitments with them.
Associations such as La Halde, IMS Entreprendre pour la Cité, and AGEFIPH also took part, discussing good practices with the Group.
More than 200 people attended this Conference, which the European Commission designated as part of the "2007 European Year of Equal Opportunities for All".
