With numerous production plants worldwide, L’Oréal collaborates with a broad community of industrial equipment suppliers divided into three categories:

  • Manufacturing equipment: Production skids, weighing equipment, washing equipment, etc.
  • Packaging machines: Fillers, labelers, distributors, multipack machines, etc.
  • Utilities: Compressors, boilers, cooling systems, paletting, fire safety, etc.

Equipment / Purchasing

L’Oréal Purchasing, working directly with its suppliers, is tasked with:

GROWTH

  • Helping to secure and improve innovations
  • Helping the Group distinguish itself through its supplier network

RISK MANAGEMENT

  • Actively contributing to risk management (Quality, capacity, deadlines, etc.)

COST MANAGEMENT

  • Controlling the expense of purchases (particularly through total cost of ownership analysis)

Equipment / SH&E

The Group's Safety Health and Environment teams aim for excellence in environmental performance through better ecoefficiency, while maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.

This involves:

  • Managing the safety, occupational health, and environment in the Group's plants, offices, and distribution centers.
  • Provide orientations and assistance for improving SH&E performance.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and publishing performance results and their trends as continuous improvement tools.

Equipment / Production

The production team is in regular contact with our equipment suppliers.

Its main tasks are:

  • Handling the production of our finished products accordance with the specifications and the deadlines requested by our clients, while reducing their environmental impact and use of natural resources.
  • Continuously improving our organizational methods, our production processes, and the performance of our manufacturing tools, partnering with our suppliers, for the purpose of maintaining our competitiveness and improving working conditions.
